KAI PO CHE !!!

After getting punishment for 10 years, he came back to the mainstream. 10 years back, Mr. Bhatt of Ahemdabad was too fed up with his son. After getting too much scolding, the three friends decided to set up their own business. No, no, it is not feasible for the Pandit Shastriji’s son to steal the donation box from the temple. Rather, opening up a sports complex is a good idea. The leader of Bharatiya Janahith Sangh (BJS) gave some money to Omi on a condition. Within a short span of time, the Sabarmati Sports Club became a very famous club in Ahmedabad. ‘Kaal toh Sunday hain, daaru peene ka din hain.’ Three of them boarded the red colored G.B.S.T.C Bus to go for a trip at the outskirts of Ahmedabad. What a lovely moment it was to jump on the waters of Arabian Sea from a fort of Gujarat. ‘Roothe khwabon ko mana lenge…kati patango ko thaamenge…haa haa hain jazba…ho ho yeh jazba…soyi taqdeere jaga denge…kaal ko ambar jhuka denge…Haa haa hain jazba…ho ho yeh jazba.’ Govind wanted to shift their Sabarmati Sports shop in a shopping mall. Itna paisa kaun dega bhai. Omi’s maternal uncle gave 5 lakhs INR to Omi on the condition that he has to join the Bharatiya Janahith Sangh.

‘Woh hamare gotra ka nahi hain.’ That’s why; no one was playing cricket with Ali Hashmi. Later on, Ishaan realized that Ali has the potential to become a good cricketer. Ali Hashmi was the son of Nasir Hashmi, who is the leader of the opposition party of Bharatiya Janahith Sangh. Despite knowing the fact, Ishaan convinced Nasir that Ali should concentrate on cricket only to become a good cricketer at least till the district level. Govind got a temporary job of Maths tuition. His Maths student was Vidya, the younger sister of Ishaan. But, Vidya’s favorite subject was Biology. The Maths teacher was clean bowled by the girl who always loved Biology. You can win several cricket matches but you cannot win any match of any game against Mother Nature. On the Indian Republic Day of 2001, a major earthquake took place in Gujarat whose epicenter was in Bhuj. That day of 26^th January 2001 shattered the dreams of three friends as the building of the shopping mall completely collapsed. The Bharatiya Janahith Sangh organized several relief camps to help the victims of earthquake. Ishaan wanted some foods for Ali, but was denied by Omi and his men. The right wing party workers organized the relief camp for the Hindu victims only, not for the Muslim victims. Ishaan and Omi had a fight on this issue.

On 15^th March 2001, Indian cricket team created a new history at Eden Gardens by beating Australia in that test match despite doing the follow-on. Laxman, Dravid, Harbhajan Singh (The spinner with a turban on his head) played fantastic cricket. Sourav Ganguly, the Indian captain, really captained like an Indian Tiger against the Steve Waugh’s team. That special victory was so sweet that Omi and Ishaan forgot their fights and became friends again. ‘Haa haa hain jazba…ho ho yeh jazba…soyi taqdeere jagaa denge.’  The Bharatiya Janahith Sangh lost the constituency but they geared up for the State election. Pandit Shastri and his wife went to Ayodha to visit Ram Mandir. Many other Kar Sevaks went to Ayodha to preach the concept of Hinduism. On 27^th February 2002, many kar sevaks were returning to Gujarat by Sabarmati Express. At Godhra Station, the S-6 coach of Sabarmati Express was burned by Muslims of Gujarat. 59 Kar Sevaks were burned alive. Omi’s parents were in that S-6 coach of Sabarmati Express. Omi lost his parents. All the Hindus of Gujarat got united to take the sweet revenge. On the other hand, Vidya became pregnant as on the Navaratri night, the two love-birds experienced a new feeling of true love on the terrace of Ishaan’s house.

Before the riot, Ishaan took Ali to his house. The Hindus of Gujarat took swords in their hands and started marching on the streets while shouting, ‘JAI SHREE RAM’. For the death of 59 Kar Sevaks, the Hindus killed at least 590 Muslims as per official records. How many more persons died in the Gujarat riots unofficially is not known. So, in that riot, a dead body of 1 Hindu person was equivalent to 10 dead bodies of Muslims. In the state of Mahatma Gandhi, an eye for an eye made them blind. For the heinous acts committed by some Muslim extremists, the innocent Muslims of Gujarat got killed in the riot. The next generations of Muslims in Gujarat will always remember the Gujarat riots and may never try to do harm on any Kar Sevak. Nasir Hashmi murdered Bittu Joshi, the leader of Bharatiya Janahith Sangh. The pregnant woman sent an SMS to her lover about her first period after pregnancy. Ishaan was shocked to see the SMS on Govind’s mobile handset of Nokia Company. In the meantime, Omi was looking very dangerous. The Hindu gentleman tried to save a Muslim boy and ultimately died. After that burning incident of Sabarmati Express Train, it was really an act of foolishness by the Hindu gentleman to try and save a Muslim boy. Muslims deserved no mercy at all at that point. 10 years later, Ali Hashmi started playing in the Under-19 Indian Cricket team as an opening batsman. Ali’s coach always used to tell him to play the off-side ball in the off-side direction only. Ali always gave respect to his Hindu coach through his batting. Hey Omi, do you know the name of the son of Vidya and Govind? His name is Ishaan. While sitting beside Vidya, Omi started weeping as one of the three kites got detached from the string of life in a kite flying competition. But, this time, everyone was so shocked emotionally that they forgot to shout, “KAI PO CHE”!
