Hello! Kids! Let us have a recap
of the story of the previous version of this animation film. After being
dissatisfied with the duty of Nandi as a security guard, Goddess Parvati
created Ganesh with her divine powers. Ganesh proved himself to be a good security
guard for his mother. Lord Shiva became angry on Ganesh. Ganesh got beheaded
and his head got replaced by the head of a baby elephant. All the gods gifted
some divine powers to Ganesh. Before the start of any ritual, the worship of
Lord Ganesh became mandatory. Ganesh become the God of Knowledge and Luck.
Hermit Parashuram was not given the permission to meet Lord Bholenath. Hermit
Parashuram broke Ganesh’s tooth out of anger and Ganesh got the new name, ‘Ekdant’.
Surptaman, a demon got the
blessed power from Lord Shiva and attacked the lords of heaven. Due to Lord
Varuna, there was drought in South India. As per Lord Brahma’s instruction, Hermit
Agastya went to meet Lord Bholenath in Kailash Parvat. Hermit Agastya got a pot
of water from Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesh poured the pot of water in South India
and a new river, Kaveri was formed. Ganesh won a competition against his younger
brother, Kartick by travelling around his parents for three times. Once, Ganesh
became very angry on Lord Chandradev, though, later on, Chandradev got back his
glitter again. Lord Kuber invited Lord Bholenath for lunch, but, he sent Lord
Ganesh for lunch. Lord Ganesh became so hungry that Lord Kuber was almost
becoming a beggar. Later, Lord Bholenath gave a bowl of rice to Lord Kuber to fulfill
the hunger of Lord Ganesh. Lord Kuber understood his mistake.
The cat was scaring the mouse.
The mouse complained about it to Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh taught a lesson to
the cat by harassing and humiliating it. After returning home, Lord Ganesh saw
the poor condition of his mother, Goddess Parvati. Goddess Parvati exists
within the soul of any helpless animal in this world! Lord Ganesh promised that
from now on, he will never harass or trouble any weak or helpless animal.
Goddess Parvati felt impressed on Lord Ganesh and gave him so many laddoos to
eat. ‘Modak ke liye humne kabhi naa kaha hain’. ‘Aap kitni acchi ho Maa’. ‘Nanha
munha, natkhat natkhat, Bal Ganesha hain.’
Hermit Vyasdeva started
meditating to impress Lord Brahma. ‘Aum Brahma Devaye Namah!’ Lord Brahma felt
impressed on his meditation and came to meet him. ‘Aankhen kholiye Munivar,
boliye kya chahte hain aap?’ Hermit Vyasdeva has written so many poetry and
verses in several copies. He wants to make a single large book i.e. Maha Kavyagranth
by writing all those poetry and verses in a consolidated manner. But, who will
write it? Vyasdeva wants an intelligent person who can write at the speed of Vyasdeva’s
thinking speed. Lord Brahma told him to go to Kailash Parvat to meet Lord
Shiva. Lord Bholenath gave the assignment to Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha showed
his intelligence by giving a condition to Vyasdeva that if Vyasdeva takes a
breath and stops while saying the verses, then Lord Ganesha will not write down
anything further from that point. Hermit Vyasdeva was also too smart enough to
understand the trick. Hermit Vyasdeva also made a condition that without
understanding the meaning of any verse, Lord Ganesha cannot write it on the
book. So, the smart game continued. Finally, the writing of the book got
completed, though Lord Ganesha had to sacrifice one tooth. ‘Dhanyabaad
Ganeshji, aapko koti koti pranaam.’ ‘De Taali de taali, bolo ganapati bappa
moriya.’
Gajmukhasur, the demon started
meditating on Lord Shiva. ‘Aum namah Shivaye.’ Lord Bholenath felt impressed on
that demon and gave him the blessing that no one can beat him in this world.
Gajmukhasur laughed at Lord Bholenath by saying, ‘Bholenath! Aap sachmuch bhole
hain.’ Gajmukhasur started attacking the hermits and the lords. All the lords of
heaven came to Kailash Parvat and requested Lord Bholenath to do something
about it. Lord Bholenath had full confidence on his son, Lord Ganesh. Lord
Ganesh was given the task to beat Gajmukhasur. Gajmukhasur accepted defeat in
the hands of Lord Ganesh and became the speedy mouse to remain as a transporter
animal for Lord Ganesh forever. ‘Haan tabhi toh main sochu, itna sa mushak
Ganesh ji ka bhaar kaise utha leta tha. Rakshas ka taaqat joh teh usme.’ So,
this much for now! ‘Friends! Apun log phir milenge Ganesh ji ke aur majedaar
stories ke saath. Ganapati Bappa Moriya!’ These were all about the animation
film, “BAL GANESH 2”.
