1971 !!!

'Agar yahaan bhi woh log raheta hain toh Pakistan kyon banaaya.' 'Galti ho gaya bhai, aagey se nahi banaaenge.' 'Humne woh jung ladhi thi kaandhon se kaandhe milaake, apne pyare Hindustan ke taraf se.' 'Hindustan ne humko kyon bhulaa diya, humein maloom nahi, Pakistan humko kyon sab kuch bhula dena chahta hain, humein maloom nahi.'

India sent back around 93,000 Pakistani soldiers to Pakistan after the Indo-Pak war of 1971 which is also known as Bangladesh Liberation War. But, Pakistan kept so many Indian prisoners in their prison. On 12th December 1971, due to shortage of arms and ammunitions, the Pakistani soldiers got hold of Major Suraj Singh of '18 Rajputana Rifles' Regiment.

When the 'International Red Cross Society' of Geneva, Switzerland got the secret information that Pakistan has kept the Indian 'Prisoners of War' in Pakistani jails, they sent their representatives to check all the prisons of Pakistan. But, the Pakistan Government under the new military rule played a trick. 'Zia-ul-Haq ! Bhutto ka kya hua ?' Major Zia-ul-Haq performed a military coup to overthrow the then Pakistani 'Wazir-e-Azam'.

The Indian 'Prisoners of War' made a plan to escape from that hidden camp. The only bomb became wet. Ahmed sacrificed his life. The Pakistani singer tried her level best, but, under the military rule, the democracy of Pakistan died a natural death. Jacob could not bear the pain and committed suicide. Ram fought till the end and even sacrificed his life with the help of a grenade just like Ahmed did in the camp area.

As they fell from the bike, Kabir got badly injured. After reaching near LOC, Kabir died. Suraj Singh died in India and that too due to Indian Army's bullets. The soldiers of the Indian Army failed to understand anything due to that Pakistani Army uniform and a fake Pakistani ID Card. Gurtu was taken back to Multan Jail. Around 54 Indian 'Prisoners of War' were last seen in Pakistani prisons in the year of 1988. In 1977, their bravery, unity and patriotism proved, why India won the war of "1971".
