WAKE UP SID !!!

Whenever you open your eyes, nobody wishes ‘Good Morning’, but ‘Good Afternoon’ only because when you wake up, the small hand of the clock always surpasses the number 12 in that clock. The teenagers of young generation i.e. of our X-generation love to spot night owls but dislikes to see the sunrise in the east.

Examinations always have two results. Either you pass or fail. Therefore, there is no point in thinking about it. College life is really an enjoyable life after your school days. Time always keep on flowing like the waters of a river either to meet the sea or to dry out before reaching the sea, but the friendship never dies.

Juniors always give farewell to the seniors because the college life follows the First in- First out (FIFO) theory. Male lovers always gift a ring to their beloved female partners. That’s a traditional style which may fail in modern times also. Moms are always happy to see their babies growing up into an adult but the babies are not.

In the age of women empowerment by trial and error policies, every woman wants to become independent and stand on their own feet. The City of Joy has no job opportunities for fresh college pass outs due to the political turmoil and lazy attitudes of those citizens. The City of Dreams has all the treasures of creative jobs.

In every second, everything changes in this city but the ambience of the sea never changes. When you look towards the see at night, it is a total darkness with the lively sounds of sea-waves and when you look towards the city at night, it is full of electrical lights in the skyscrapers which signify the artificial and materialistic life.

A man works hard in his youth to earn more money with a vision that one day he will have a lovely sweet wife and bubbly children with whom he will spend a happy and luxurious life at the later stage of his life. But when at the age of 55 years, the man discovers his offspring as a spoilt brat, he feels himself dejected.

Come to the office for 1 month to get a new branded 4-wheeler. But, in 2 weeks you will succumb inside that office if it is like a virtual prison with some robots working there as paid prisoners. Any room can be made beautiful if a woman stays inside it because women are inborn interior decorators and believe in beautiful life.

There are some characters in this world who don’t care about the opportunity cost because they don’t regard life as an object to be displayed inside a shopping mall with a price tag attached with it. Life is like a virtual 4 –wheeler which keeps on rolling on the streets of the world. Never mind if there are potholes on the bumpy roads.

Friends always remember the bad habits of their pals and that’s what makes the friendship more invulnerable. Editing and writing are two different things but if you are running a magazine company, both writing and editing become complementary to each other. Some personalities are so charming to become friends naturally.

Moms always maintain a photo album of their children and looks at it whenever they become nostalgic of her motherhood days. Even when you grow up and see your childhood photos, you just laugh at yourself and make the statement, ‘my goodness, was it me in my childhood days! I looked so cute and sweet when I was a child’.

When you grow up as a matured man from a college-going teenager, your female partner expects something more from you. You always drank water but this time it’s time to spill water on her to make her feel the coolness of life. There is no calling bell at the door of your heart. That’s why; love always enters inside your heart silently.

No matter whether you fail or pass in an exam, ultimately, you emerge as the winner if you win the race of life. When your passion gets proper guidance and direction, then it becomes your perfect profession to be cherished for the whole life.

After two months of heated summer season, there comes the monsoon. The first rainfall of that monsoon is always special for the soothing hearts of new lovers. The man of city of dreams met with the woman of city of joy to make ‘A Joy to Dream’.

Before you go to sleep at night, always wish within your heart that when you wake up to see the sunrise, it will be another new lovely day for you. Do I need to blow a vuvuzela to wake up the college-going teenagers of our X-generation or will it be more than enough to suggest them to watch “WAKE UP SID” of Ranvir Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kankona Sen Sharma, Rahul Khanna and others?
