In western countries, Asians are still used as sophisticated slaves and are also treated like that only. The Whites don’t seem to show any type of respect towards the Black Asians from the very core of their heart. Jahangir had a second marriage with a British girl. Maybe, that’s why; Jahangir was not a direct victim of racism in England.
But, Sajid, the son of Jahangir was learning all the bad things of the western civilization. Sajid didn’t even used to give respect to his own father. Jahangir was too upset with Sajid. At least in Asian countries, a son never uses slang languages to his father. Jahangir decided to take Sajid to his motherland.
Welcome to Pakistan! Sajid was surprised to see so many people coming to the airport to receive him and his father. In Western countries, you will hardly find this type of greetings of love and that too outside the airport. Sajid became friendly with his step-brother, Muneer.
The Jahangir’s son-in-law was not so happy to see Jahangir’s plan of staying in Pakistan for more than a month. Actually, Jahangir had some other plans. He wanted to construct a new house for his 1st wife and also wanted to get his son, Muneer to get married to a beautiful lady in Pakistan.
Sajid took the charge of searching a woman for his elder brother. He found a lady, who is half-Japanese, half –Pakistani, but she really speaks English very well. The Pirbaba saw the naughtiness of Sajid and took Jahangir’s permission to teach Sajid, the meaning of life.
Sajid was given ample opportunity to explore that village of Pakistan which was in western province of Punjab. Sajid found a new friend. He started feeling the meaning of life which was not bounded by any concrete building of selfishness. The innocence of villagers, the pure smell of the soil of his motherland transformed him into a good and decent boy.
Jahangir’s 2nd wife came to Pakistan to take her hubby home. The 1st wife boasted him. After a long 30 years, why Jahangir came back? Where was he, when his wife was young & fresh to enjoy her sexual desires & pleasures with him? Finally, Muneer got married to that beautiful girl; and Jahangir, Alia & Sajid went back to England. The Pirbaba gifted his flute to Sajid. Sajid was playing the flute while sitting on the roof-top of a house in England. If Pakistan is Pakistan, then “WEST IS WEST”, featuring Om Puri and others.
